Alleged Car Thief Caught in the Act by Ring Camera

Info from Licensor: At about 1:48am, my friend Tayla was using the bathroom and the Ring Camera sent a message to her phone saying “motion detected by front door” she watched the live footage and she saw a man, dressed in a long coat and is wearing a mask, he had seemingly opened up her truck door and she grabbed the closest object that she could defend herself with Incase the situation escalated and wanted to scare him off so he knew NOT to come back again. Once she took off, a red pickup truck stopped her in her trackstar path and the intruder escaped because that was his getaway vehicle. She had contacted the police to report the person and truck. Mind you, she did this while running on a semi broken (never healed) ankle! This happened in Southport, Indiana, a local neighborhood.
