Fuel hikes provoke street violence in crisis-gripped Lebanon

Mired in crisis already, Lebanon is facing fresh woes in the form of gasoline shortages and power cuts, after the country's energy ministry increased fuel prices by more than a third, leading to long lines and triggering price hikes. As a result, violent protests have been rocking the country for weeks.
