So Then… Hebrews 4:14-16
Today’s focus is on verses 14-16 of Hebrews but before we can understand what is going on in these few verses, we must go back and look at what chapter 4 of Hebrews is telling us. We find that we are given a warning about not entering the rest of God, much like the Israelites wondering in the wilderness. God has given us every tool we need to know what is expected of us as a Christian and what we need to do to make sure we enter into God’s rest. Are we using these tools? Are we maintaining our relationship with God? If not, Praise God, we can come boldly before the Throne of Grace and receive all we need to get back where we are supposed to be!
