This 6x52 box pressed stick features a dark chocolate mottled wrapper with a very firm dense pack, buttery soft glove leather feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap and damp wood aroma. First light reveals a good draw with mild-medium earth and slight pepper notes with a fairly short finish. The first third comes up to a solid medium body shifting draw flavors completely to a slightly sweet nuttiness with a citrus kick, followed by a bigger earth and tingly black pepper dominating the longer finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with deteriorating performance. Burn is still slow but harder to draw, smoke is diminishing and flavors are going to a hot slightly sweet mushy earth with an ashy finish. Ending early with a couple inches left the last bit brought a brief chocolate on the draw before going completely hot and washed out 1 hour in.
