Bill C-36: Canada's Online Hate Speech Bill That Makes Bill C-10 Jealous | Death of Online Discourse

Pierre Poilievre, one of the good Members of Parliament on the Conservative side, said what has been obvious for the past decade: The Liberals, NDP, Bloc and Green Parties all are the same!

With the House passing Bill C-10, effectively shifting regulatory powers of online discourse to the CRTC, it's no surprise that Chairman Ian Scott was meeting with the Canadian Media Heads (Bell, Rogers and Shaw). What were they discussing? It's pretty obvious.

If it wasn't intrusive enough, Bill C-36 is the grown up, evolved version of Bill C-10. Titled "An Act to Amend the Criminal Code", is the application of the draconian Hate Speech Laws enforced by the Human Rights Tribunals in each Province, to the internet.

First the Government Regulates the content, now they censor it.
