20210625 Boys, Girls, and Autism - The Daily Summation

Is Autism really more prevalent in males than in females?

If anybody can produce definitive evidence or data to that effect, I'm surely unaware that's the case.

That said, I do tend to believe young men DO NOT "handle" Autism as well as do young women, by and large.

To me, this is why there's such a tendency to "deal with" young men with Autism, and so much LESS of a tendency to do likewise with young ladies.

That said, I think two things.

One, we NEED TO get better at diagnosing and RECORDING incidences of Autism (in both boys and girls).

Two, we need to look at how to better deal with it in females, than we currently do.

Is it some sort of "emergency?" I don't tend to think so (more so maybe for Level 2 and Level 3 Autism).

Still, these are things we need to improve on.

This is what I get into in this edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to that here.
