How to be grounded

Here is an excellent example of the peril of having contradictions in your life. It is a parable that Jesus Christ told to buttress the benefits of taking the right action:

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.  And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:24-27

The two builders in this parable had the same goal in mind; that is to have a house that will shelter them from the elements when the time comes. Yet one failed to build on the right foundation but expected to get the same results. The sad thing is that what you get is tied to what you do or do not do. This explains why one of the houses stood, and the other failed.

The IEM APPROACH is a holistic way of life; the physical and spiritual must be in synergy for real, lasting, and sustainable success.
