This is for the 2016+ Camaro 3.6 V6 models. I had the non-npp stock exhaust. My exact car is a 2019 3LT RS Camaro, V6. The original idea was to purchase the American Thunder exhaust system from Flowmaster which had a $600 price tag on its own. After some looking around I realized I could get the same mufflers from the kit at a much lower price. So I purchased those, and added some black tips from flowmaster. I took these to a shop and had them installed.

The sound is much more aggressive and not a ton louder. This is what I wanted. It sounds much better and louder when you step on it, but I didnt want any drone or to wake up the neighbors when I started my car early in the morning.

Later I switched the stock resonator (which apparently is not a real x-pipe) with an actual x pipe. The result was an added sound which is really only noticeable on start up and when you really get on the throttle. The video really does not pick it up at all inside the car, but in person its a pretty noticeable difference.

There is a little more rasp but not nearly enough to sound bad or for people to mistake it for a Honda Civic. (Also not nearly as bad as the MBRP race exhaust) There is a little added volume, and it just sound more fun when I get on the throttle now. Now the only thing left is whether I should keep my 2nd cats, or straight pipe them... hmmmmm....
