6-22-21 Butte County BOS Meeting

Today was the first day in well over a year that the BOS chamber floors were open to the public without forcing them to wear suffocation devices on their faces or social distancing. Every chair was available for seating and the room was quite full. Despite the fact that a large group of union members there did not wish to speak during agenda 3.0 public comments, our speaking time, nonetheless, was shortened from the standard five minutes to only three. This makes absolutely no sense at all except that the board does not want our community to hear what we have to say, lest we continue to grow in numbers, continue to increase awareness of the rampant fraud and corruption in this county, and finally, hold these shameless board members accountable. The heat is turning up, and summer is just getting started.
