The past few months have been peppered with reports of large, multi-billion dollar companies paying out ransoms following ransomware attacks. First it was Colonial Pipeline back in May who initially said they weren't going to. A few weeks ago, JBS paid a reported $11 million, the largest ransom in Cybersecurity history.
