Lacey The Alpaca Loves To Hang Out With Cats

Alpacas are a domesticated species of South American camelid. They look like llamas and are often confused with them. Alpacas are very soft, friendly and gentle pets. They like to hang out with people and other animals too. Watch this cute alpaca being a best friend with a cat and her little baby kitten.

Meet Lacey, a bottle fed alpaca who grew up on the deck of this home with the family cats. She was raised by a human family because her mother didn’t have enough milk to provide. For five months, the people who have rescued Lacey fed her every three hours to satisfy the needs of the baby alpaca.

While she was a baby, Lacey spent a lot of time in the house, playing with the family pet cats. She grew up believing that she too was a cat. Lacey even got a pink manicure on her feet, can you believe that? She is now proudly showing it off in the backyard.

Flicka, the family cat was her best friend from the very beginning. She gave birth to baby kittens, who were staying in a box, away from the alpaca until this day. As you can see in the video, Lacey thinks that this little kitty cat is the coolest thing ever! Seeing her how she interacts with one of the newborn kittens, it's simply adorable. The owners say that Lacey loves to take naps together with the cats.
