Leaking braided brake line from the fittings. Thanks not gonna work
2009 Subaru Forester Rusty Bucket
4 months ago the brake line blow. Took the car to a Subaru dealer and the rear suspension was so rusted Subaru wanted authorization to replace the entire rear end suspension and sub framing. I had purchased the car 9 weeks earlier. Moral of this story NEVER BUY A CAR WITHOUT LOOKING UNDERNEATH. At any rate after some searching found out people have successfully replaced the lines with flexible braided brake lines often used in custom build and hot rods. Order these lines and kept getting leaks. I thought I had made a bad double flare. However this ended up not being the case. If you are investigating a leak try to tilt the lines so you can determine where the leak is emanating from. Good luck with your repairs
