School Board Madness Hits Illinois legislature recently passed S.B. 0818 #sexeducation #schoolchoice #Schoolboard
An Illinois mother gave her local school board an earful over new sex education standards that she claims will “sexually [groom] young children by introducing sensitive and inappropriate topics.”

According to WGEM, both chambers of the Illinois legislature recently passed S.B. 0818, a bill requiring schools that teach sex education to use the National Sex Education Standards (NSES).

The bill is awaiting a signature from Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, a Democrat.

At a school board meeting, Becky Swan, a mother and graduate of Illinois District 87, stated that the bill imposes a “form of sexual harassment” and “destroys local control over curriculum.”

Swan’s remarks were captured in a video of the meeting released by a local news outlet.
