Good evening , I’m still reporting on the coup.
The Michigan State Senate has just passed three new bills requiring Voter ID for both in-person and absentee voters, adding Michigan to a growing list of states tightening up their election laws.
All Republicans voted for the three bills, and all Democrats voted against them.
Voters who don’t have ID would have to cast a provisional ballot and then they would have 6 days to confirm their identity.
In another bill, voters seeking absentee ballots would also have to prove their identity with their application.
In the third bill, voters who receive a provisional ballot would have to be notified that they have only 6 days to verify their identity.
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, one of the wildest of leftist Democrats, is expected to veto all three bills, however Republicans are already planning to petition for a ballot initiative demanding passage of all three bills into law. They will need more than 340,000 voters to sign that petition.
President Trump received over 2.6 million votes in Michigan during the 2020 presidential election – that we know of.
Republican Senator Lana Thies said:
“It is overwhelmingly popular among voters that they verify their identity to vote.”
In Pennsylvania last week, Republic legislators proposed a new law to overhaul the commonwealth’s election system.
The bill mandates voter ID and signature verification for mail-in ballots and creates a standing new Bureau of Election Audits agency.
Earlier this year, Florida, Georgia and Texas approved similar legislation.

I’m still reporting from just outside the citadel of world freedom. Good day.
