Deputy Commanding General Southern European Task Force Africa, U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Terri Borras, talks African Lion, the largest and most important joint exercise held by Morocco, Tunisia, and Senegal from 7 to 18 June.ver 7,000 people from nine countries and NATO are training together with the goal of improving preparedness for US and partner nation forces. Al21 is a multi-domain, multi-component, multi-national exercise that uses a wide range of mission capabilities to improve interoperability among participants. (Video by Sgt.
