St. Patrick started his life in Britain and as a teenager was basically an atheist until he was captured and sold as a slave in Ireland.

St. Patrick after 6 years of prayer as a slave got a vision and walked 200 miles and found the boat that took him home in the vision.

St. Patrick then went back to to Ireland years later and through Faith in God and the Power of the Holy Spirit he converted the Pagan nation to Christianity.
