It's time to move on to the next level. Since getting my amateur radio license I've enjoyed listening to people talking on the air waves as well as joining in and speaking to people at pretty good distances thanks to some local repeaters on my handheld radio.

The intent when I got my license was always to get on to HF frequencies which allow the furthest communication distances. Mainly to stay in touch with brethren in case of a SHTF situation. Praise YAH for blessing me with the means to get the required equipment to set up my first base station.

It will take some time to get every thing connected and set up. I will also be experimenting with antennas to see what works best on my balcony. I hope to be speaking to my brothers south of the border soon.
