Come to me !

What does it mean "come to me all who are weary?"

Jesus invites all who are weary and overburdened to find rest in him. Only when we go to Jesus do we find real rest. Jesus offers us peace (Matthew 11:28).

Come to me
We can look for peace and rest in many places: in money, in fame, in friends, in mysticism, in philosophy, in education... But none of this gives us the perfect rest. Only Jesus has what we need.

Jesus never fails. All other things pass but Jesus is eternal. He is the only one who can fill the void in our hearts. Jesus is the only way to God (John 14:6).
