"When Christmas Calls..." A Holiday Poem

One Christmas we were given a beautifully decorated gingerbread house by some very good friends. I knew right away I wanted to immortalize the gift with a poem. I took pictures of the gingerbread house and then wrote "When Christmas Calls..." to specifically go with the photograph, which appears next to the individual poem in "Seasons & Traditions.". It paints the holiday season as a time of love, generosity, and compassion mixed with the blessings of tradition.
