PREGNANT WOMAN SAYS SHE FATALLY SHOT BOYFRIEND IN SELF-DEFENSE

A pregnant woman fatally shot her boyfriend Thursday morning, claiming self defense, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 8:55 a.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home in the 1200 block of Baltic Lane in North Harris County in reference to a shooting. The caller, a 30-year-old woman, stated she shot her boyfriend in self defense.

On arrival at the scene, units located a deceased 29-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds near the front door of the residence.

The woman, who is one month pregnant, was transported to an area hospital with injuries consistent with an assault, investigators said.
