Now That a Federal Judge Shut Down CA's "Assault Weapons" Ban: What's Next, Moving Forward?
US District Court Judge Roger Benitez recently overturned California's "assault weapons" ban. As 2nd Amendment supporters heralded the decision, anti-gun activists decried it with the help of much of the mainstream media. The latter group includes embattled California Governor Gavin Newsom, who angrily responded to the decision, throwing verbal barbs at Judge Benitez.
What does this mean for the fight to protect the 2nd Amendment? What happens next? Will this fight go all the way to the Supreme Court? If the overturning decision is upheld. how do Constitutionalists and others in favor of the 2nd Amendment move forward? At what length will the leaders of the anti-gun agenda and media allies go to try and rebuff progress on protecting the right to self-defense?
In this special edition f Thought to Action, presented by the London Center for Policy Research, our panelists address these questions.
