How the Fed has Distorted Markets [6/10/21]

The Fed's walking a tightrope of zero interest rates and continuing quantitative easing, and something's got to give. Unfortunately, the Fed has painted itself into a corner, and will be forced to begin tapering their debt purchasing. That the Fed has distorted the inflation market with their purchases of TIPS, the overnight borrowing rate, and even the mortgage market, is obvious. What's driving this behavior is the proliferation of cheap money. When will it all end? Sooner than some may think...
