We travel to Jerez Zacatecas in the very heart of Mexico. In This episode we show some street food from a strolling vendor selling camotes or sweet potatoes. We, also, show why México is so appealing as an alternative to the fast paced life of an American. We enjoy some of the unique culture and architecture of Jerez de Garcia Salinas, especially around the center of town, El jardin. We get to listen to some live street music as the local bands gather around El Jardin and play a local form of music called Tamborazo, which has a beat unique to the Zacatecas area. We finish off with some excellent ice cream /shavedice hybrid, called raspanieves, from El Paraiso.

About Us: We have been married since 2002, February of 2002 to be exact. In 2020 We will slam into 40 years old, both of us, but in our time together we have been to some interesting places and done some interesting things. Places and things that many people would seem to overlook, but really shouldn't. Sometimes the best adventures come from the unbeaten path. Join us in our travels through the unbeaten path and see what wonders await those adventurous enough to say, "Let's see what over there".
