During Great Outdoors Month, Colorado pushes to make outdoors more inclusive, protect environment

Colorado lawmakers passed a bill this month to establish an outdoor equity fund to make the outdoors more inclusive for all, while state officials are trying to figure out how to be sure people can enjoy Colorado’s outdoor spaces while still protecting the environment and the plants and animals that call this state home.
