Does God bless nations according to their reception or rejection of the Gospel? Historian Stephen M. Cope believes the Scripture teaches this truth and has compiled over twenty years research into a new video lecture series entitled "A Nation Built by the Power of the Gospel: Revival and Crisis in American History".

Stephen M. Cope holds a B. A. in History, an M. A. in Church History, and has completed most of his course work towards a Ph. D. in Church History and Historical Theology. Stephen believes that one of the greatest crises facing the American church today is its lack of historical understanding, particularly regarding God's work of revival and building His church in the United States of America. Stephen's burden is for Christians in the United States to claim once again the great heritage left to us by our spiritual forefathers, and see Christ revive His work in this land which languishes in spiritual declension and blatant apostasy from the gospel of Jesus Christ.
