Creamy Rice Pudding an Old Fashioned Recipe with CVC

CREAMY RICE PUDDING
SERVES 2
1 ½ CUP MILK
A PINCH OF SALT
1/4C. WHITE RICE
1/8C. RAISINS (I LIKE GOLDEN)
2 TBSP. BUTTER
CINNAMON SUGAR
NUTMEG (OPTIONAL)

Put the milk in a medium saucepan and bring to a low boil. Add rice and raisins and stir then put on a lid and cook on lowest heat for 15 minutes. Open and stir well, put cover back on and cook another 15 minutes. Take off cover and stir. You will cook it until it is creamy, and rice is soft. It should take another 10 minutes or so making the total cook time around 40 minutes. Cook time can vary depending on the amount of heat used. Once the rice is creamy and soft, remove from heat and add 1 Tbsp. Sugar and 1 Tbsp. Butter. Stir well. Put in serving cups and top with a pat of butter and cinnamon sugar. Can use nutmeg if desired. Serve warm or cold.
