Steube Grills Secretary Blinken on U.S. Assistance to Gaza and the Palestinian Authority

America’s foreign policy strategy and funding measures must fully defend our allies and support stability in the Middle East. That’s why I’ve backed several initiatives to support our Israeli allies and hold our adversaries in Iran and terror groups responsible.

Instead of backing our allies or supporting stability in the Middle East, the Biden Administration has promised $110 million to go to Gaza and has announced another $110 million in new economic assistance to the Palestinian Authority, despite the evidence that this assistance is funneled to Iran or used to fund global terrorism.

In today’s House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing I questioned Biden’s Secretary of State Blinken about his funding requests and how we can ensure that no U.S. taxpayer dollars will be used to fund terrorism or attacks against our allies.
