The wood wide web shows a connectivity based on a "kin recognition" to recognize trees of their own species and they share nutrients with them through their mycorrihizal network.

This support of the younger, the weaker, to ensure survival is not "survival of the fittest"; it shows a support structure to ensure their kind survive.

We just came back from a week long camping trip (1 week ago today) and I'm enriched.
