The songs talks about the believer's joy in awaiting the second coming of Christ. A Christian does not look for "the end of the world" like some of the 2012 doomsday soothsayers that are more concerned about what a Mayan cult back in the middle said than what the Bible says. Our hope is in the word of God and we are looking forward to that part of Christ's coming that is called the rapture when believers will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.
