20210602 Deserving Wealth - The Daily Summation

That someone tells you you don't deserve your house, or or life is generally unreasonable. Can we agree on that?

If someone says what you do for a living, shouldn't earn you the kind of money it does (particularly if there are some sort of complex learned skills involved), do you assume they're correct in saying that? I wouldn't.

The same thing applies to wealthy folks to me. It's NOT MY JOB OR BUSINESS to DECIDE they deserve what they earn or have.

And for the MOST PART, it's not anybody else's either.

If they stole or cheated, to get what they got, there are laws to deal with that in place already.

For pretty much every other case though, it's not up to me (or really much of anybody) to tell them what they should or shouldn't be able to amass.

This is what I put out there to think about on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
