Enjoy this amateur footage of a sow (lovingly referred to by the camp guides as Tacklebag) with her cub attacking a completely unaware, smaller sow eating along the bank of Cresent Lake.

Tacklebag and her cub were spotted late morning traveling along the north bank towards the Redoubt Mountain Lodge. While enjoying our lunch she attempted to gain access to the camp. She was deterred by the electric fence, Charlie and a companion (the Siberian Huskies), and a camp guide. Charlie barked while the camp guide talked calmly to her, encouraging her swift departure around the camp. We caught up with her just as she was encroaching upon a sow not paying attention. As the fight starts Tacklebag's cub retreated along the shoreline cutting into the woods.

After the encounter, the defeated sat on the rock she was backed onto for at least 20 minutes. We watched as Tacklebag made her way to find her lost cub and eventually the pair showed up far down the beach, having taken a wide path around the sow still sitting on her rock "of defeat."

A huge thanks to Colleen for her expertise and enthusiasm as a guide on this adventure. Her insight was invaluable and helped make the trip unforgettable!

To everyone that has left a positive comment, thank you and I apologize for the awful audio
