* There have been days I've just done Downward Facing Dog and Child's Pose several times. This helped me open and warm up my ankles, knees, hips and shoulders. It's also a good calorie burner.
* Poses with my arms outstretched, no matter the direction of my arms, have helped me with posture, to straighten rounded shoulders and slouching.
* Sitting for extended periods of time can affect your hamstrings and your back. I found that stretching my back and hamstrings helped me during my sitting-at-a-desk-all-day years.
* Twisting poses have not only helped me stretch my back but it has also helped me wring out toxicity, aid in digestion, and trim my midsection.
