Memorial Day in Washington DC

In honor of Memorial Day, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arlington National Cemetery.

Biden gave a speech to honor the soldiers who never made it home. He also spoke of how Memorial Day originated from the Civil War and reminded listeners that many Americans gave up their lives fighting for freedom for their fellow countrymen.
