Part 3 - First Cutting Clover/Grass Hay, Raking & Baling, Tractor and Knotter Issues

I am raking and baling my seven acre field of clover, timothy, orchardgrass and two of these acres are straight timothy. We had a great stand with hardly any weeds. The prowl H2O we sprayed in late winter/early spring worked it's magic!

My tractor ends up having hydraulic problems after I get done raking and have to borrow my neighbors 2755 to get the hay baled.

My right knotter keeps having the knot hang up on the bill hook. I originally thought it was bill hook tension, but when I looked closer, I found that the twine was not getting cut all the way. I found that the knife on the right wiper arm was slightly bent, not allowing the twine to be completely cut.

Equipment Used:
John Deere 5300 with 520 Loader
Enorossi G4 Tedder
John Deere 2755
Vermeer WR20
New Holland 326 Square Baler with Heavy Duty Knotters
