Ingredients:
560 g potatoes (3 medium potatoes)
60 g cornstarch
4 tbsp oil
500 ml cooking oil

Instructions:
1. Shred the potatoes, then dice them.
2. Soak the potatoes for 30 minutes, then rinse and dry them with cheesecloth.
3. Heat the pan with 4 tbsp oil and add the potatoes into the pan. Half-cooked the potatoes.
4. Put the half-cooked potatoes into a bowl, add cornstarch and mix well.
5. Place 1/3 of potato mixture on parchment paper and shape it into a square shape.
6. Place plastic food wrap on potato mixture and roll it into a 4”x5” shape with a roller. Cut off uneven edges, and cut into two pieces. Form it into McDonald’s hash brown shape. The final dimensions should be about 4”x2.5”. This recipe can make 9 hash browns. Place them in the freezer to freeze.
7. Heat the oil to 350F. Fry the hash browns until golden brown. Sprinkle with salt.
