This 6.1x50 stick features a firmly packed, slightly oily dark tan wrapper with a fine tooth, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint barnyard aroma. First light reveals a great draw with rich medium bodied smoke showing a silky smooth sweet earth and slight spice on the tail of the long finish. The first third smokes perfectly with a very good burn although on the quick side. Flavors are growing more complex with a sweet cream, leather and light earth that goes through the finish with a building oily spice lasting to the next draw. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes holding solid chunks of ash with just a minor change in flavors, the addition of a slight graham cracker on the end of the finish with the spice dying down a notch. Ending at 1:15 the last third keeps the same flavors but brings body to medium-full adding a medium strength kick that crept up since the band point.
