Truthzilla Bonus #22 - Free Speech

Welcome to another Truthzilla Bonus Episode! Let's define what we're talking about here. I have the right to express myself freely. You have the right to express yourself freely. You have the right to be offended by what I say. I have the right to be offended by what you say. In neither case does either person have the right to tell the other person that they cannot speak. There are consequences to people's actions, yes, but that doesn't negate a person's right to freely express themselves. The freedom of speech, the right to speak, is not something that a person can grant another person, let alone take from them. It is an inalienable right given to us by virtue of being human with the means to communicate. If you don't like what we say, let's have a discussion. Start your own podcast and vocalize your view. Once you start the process of cancelling people's right to speak, where does it end? In the end, they will come for you too. This is fundamental and unchanging. The attempts that we are seeing to stifle free and open discourse is a crime against our very humanity and it must be resisted in all its forms. Reality itself is under seige and one could very easily be guilty of the most serious crime known to man (or woman) by pointing it out; offending someone. Enjoy the show!
