The Great Debate in the Black Community Leadership

The left-wing leadership of the black community has rejected Booker T. Washington's gospel of "work, work, work" in favor of W.E.B. du Bois's gospel of "agitate, agitate, agitate." Yet some other nonwhite groups are using the Washington recipe and making greater progress than the black community.
