A cascade or cascading waterfall has more than one level of this process. Typically , water falls for less distance before it strikes a lower elevation but then it falls almost immediately to yet the next lower elevation. In a cascading waterfall this can happen along many intermediate levels . A “cascade” refers to an event that triggers another event which triggers another event, like dominoes in a line falling down . In a cascading waterfall , water falls and hits some rocks, falls again hitting other rocks then falls again, etc
