CHILDREN UNDER 12 MAY SOON CONSENT TO VACCINES WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION OR KNOWLEDGE

Kevin Smith, president and CEO of the University Health Network, told reporters that children may soon have that legal power due to international evidence on the safety and need for Covid-19 vaccines.

Yet, NO Covid-19 vaccine has been approved (under emergency authorization only) or been proven to prevent infection.

How can children, at any age, understand the complex nature of the regulatory vaccine approval system, vaccine associated risk/benefits and accompanying medical/ethical issues associated with minors consenting to a vaccine?
