Are You A Finisher?
Life Issues!! We all have them and they are all different. Some are little issues, some are huge issues, and some may be paralyzing issues. Our life purpose can get so muddied up when our life issues are at the center of our lives, just whirling around us and creating all kind of distractions and havoc. When this happens, our life gets into that slow drift away from God being first, and it becomes all about us and we boot God out of the center of our lives. Now, right now, are our lives all about us? We have to try to fix things, we have to try to save ourselves, we become the all of our everything. Only, this doesn’t work, we end up in a crash and burn scenario, because we have a human condition that needs God. We were created to need God at the center of our lives. He can go the distance and without Him, we can’t. So, I decided, my life issues were no longer going to paralyze me, I was going to get up off the mat and follow after Jesus. My main life issue is going to be about Him and His Kingdom. I am going to seek first His Kingdom, (Matthew 6:33) and as the Word says, everything else will fall into place. I gave Jesus total access to my life, I laid down my life issues, making God the all of my everything, and positioning Jesus at the center of my life. Now, this is a good start that will finish well, because Jesus is a finisher, and He is always a good starter and a great finisher. Jesus finishes what He starts and He does so excellently.
