This past week I have come across multiple stories that have caused me great concern! As parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and caring adults, we must be vigilant about what the young people in our lives are exposed to. Many of us already know to be careful about all the violence, sex, and satanic information on TV, the internet, books, and magazines. Sadly, it’s now becoming even more bold. Just last week Teen Vogue published an article about how to use menstrual blood in witchcraft. The article, titled “Menstrual Blood Magic: 3 Spells For Your Period,” is an installment of their practical magic series. Teen Vogue has also written articles proclaiming that “sex work is real work” and that “Antifa is not really violent, they just have strongly held principals.” How sad! Another place where we must be vigilant is in the public schools, and even some private schools. Many states, like Washington, are mandating Critical Race Theory (CRT) be taught, which is very dangerous to our children. I will, hopefully, be doing a separate broadcast about CRT in the future, but at its core, CRT teaches people that America is inherently racist and that peoples’ individuality is not based on their intrinsic worth as human persons, but as a member of a group based on perceived outward appearance. Some schools in California and Oregon are even claiming that “math is racist!” These educators claim that there is no right or wrong answer in math. Any answer is equally valid.” The new curriculum they want to use will be based on a document titled “Dismantling Racism in Mathematics Instruction”. This manual claims that teachers addressing students’ mistakes forthrightly is a form of white supremacy, including a focus on “getting the right answer,” teaching math in a “linear fashion,” requiring students to “show their work”, and grading them on demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter. “The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false,” the manual explains. “Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuates ‘objectivity.’” In another situation, a first grade teacher read a book about transgenderism, called “I Am Jazz”, to her students without informing the parents beforehand. Obviously, many parents were upset about this because 1st graders are too young to be subjected to this very complex issue, and most parents would prefer to address this matter personally with their kids. When the parents brought their concerns before the school board, nothing was done. Why? Well, the school board president, a woman, owns and operates an “ALL ages sex toy shop”. She and others on the board saw nothing wrong with what the 1st grade teacher had done. And just when you thought things couldn’t get worse on college campuses, they have. A judge, that Obama appointed a while back, ordered a Christian college to allow biological men to shower with women. The ruling comes after Biden signed an executive order in January titled, “Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation.” Now biological men CAN go into the women’s bathroom. Not only transgender. Perverts who are biological men can now too. Where does it say biological? In April, the College of the Ozarks filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration. The Christian college claims Biden’s executive order victimizes women and people of faith. The current law “requires private religious colleges to place biological males into female dormitories and to assign them as females’ roommates.” But last week, Judge Ketchmark of the Western District of Missouri ruled against the college and declined to stop Biden’s transgender bathroom rule from going into effect. The college will be appealing this decision.
My friends, we cannot afford to stay silent or cower as our precious children are being exposed to such deceptive and evil ideas. We must confront those who seek harm our kids with their sinful perspectives. Romans 16:19 says we are to be “wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil.” For some of you, maybe that means you need to pull your kids out of public school and homeschool them. For others, maybe you need to be more attentive to what is being taught in your kid’s classroom, or maybe you can join the school board and intercede for them. Let us all see what we can do to protect the children! 🤠
