The Israel-Palestine conflict with war is ongoing. In the past years the peace process between them has come to a halt. The situation is tense due to the ongoing Israeli occupation and the shortcomings from the Palestinian leadership. But also the attitude of international community and particularly the US, the EU and the Arab are not helping to solve the conflict.
In 2013 the EFA MEPs Francois Alfonsi, Jill Evans and Ana Miranda visited the West Bank and East Jerusalam to see the first hand what this conflict is about.
