Annalena Baerbock with strange remarks about World War 2

Annalena Baerbock, Co-leader and nominee for German chancellorship of Alliance 90/The Greens, made some silly and strange remarks in a conversation for the think tank "Atlantic Council" with Fareed Zakaria CNN. She claimed that the soldiers of Nazi Germany, like her grandfather, fought for peace and friendship in Europe.

It is not the first time, that Baerbock confuses things. Confusing things is her signature feature.
