Tommy Gun Machine Gun Monday

The Thompson submachine gun is a submachine gun invented by John T. Thompson in 1918 during World War I that became famous during the Prohibition era. Used by both law enforcement and criminals. It was known as the "Tommy Gun", "Street Sweeper”, “Chicago Typewriter", and the "Trench Broom".
