Bio *(from my Komuso.com page) Born February 26, 1970 in Trenton, New Jersey. Began Shakuhachi study in 1994, teachers include Tomie Hahn, Steven Rowland, David Wheeler, and currrently Kawase Junsuke III, Iemoto of Kinko Ryuu Chikuyusha. Received Shihan Certification August 6, 2011, along with the name Shōyū 笙友.
