China Backed Upgrade of Strategic Former US WWII Pacific Island Airstrip is for ‘Civilian Use’

An airstrip that was of strategic importance for the US during World War II in the Pacific is once again finding itself in that position except it is now strategically important for China. The CCP is investing large sums of money into this airstrip under the guise it will supposedly improve transportation links while bolstering tourism for the island nation of Kiribati. The irony of which is, the island it is on that is part of Kiribati only has around 20 inhabitants and no real infrastructure on it.

In this video we take a look at Reuters acting as the CCP’s propagandists and not even trying to hide it with how transparent their covering for them is.
