Fantastic Slave Path - Diamantina-MG Brazil

It was one of the main connecting routes between the North of Minas and the South of Bahia in the 18th century. It was the diamond route of the old Arraial do Tijuco, built to give access to the mining in the mining district of Mendanha. It takes the name of Caminho dos Escravos because it was built by slaves portraying one of the most cruel facets in the history of Brazil.
