The ACFT, also known as the Army Combat Fitness Test, consists of six events that are based on the tasks that a soldier might encounter during training or combat. Lasting about 50 minutes or less for each individual, the six events are 3 repetition maximum deadlifts, standing power throws, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, leg tucks, and a two-mile run. These events are designed to test strength, coordination, balance, the endurance of muscles, movement and skills under anaerobic conditions, and aerobic capacity. Get alerted about whats to come!
