6 extreme situations and what you need to do to save yourself, before a disaster strikes.

Such situations need to be dealt with quickly, before it becomes too late.

There are many situations that make us choose quickly, if we do not want to be in jeopardy, or even life-threatening. Although it does not happen often, who would have predicted that one day you would be in such a situation or not?

So, it is better to equip yourself with some survival tips to know how to handle it properly, in order to increase your ability to escape from danger.

1. Stolen into the house.
Most burglars who enter your home will quickly flee when they realize you are there. In this case, do not waste the effort playing a hero but chase, because thieves can do anything to escape, including attack you. However, when you hear strange noises, do not rush to find out where the sound is coming from. Instead, listen calmly and see if it is true that the thief broke in or not. If this is correct, look around and locate your plan to run away. In the event that there is no place to escape, find a safe place to hide, then call the police immediately. Keep absolutely quiet, and follow their instructions. And if you can see the intruder, try to remember everything you can - shape, height, gender, clothing ... all of which will help the police find them later.

2. When volcanoes erupt.
Granted, volcanic eruptions are quite a sight to behold, but volcanic ash will do great damage to your lungs if inhaled. In case you are outdoors, avoid places that are too low and well ventilated, as ash and lava will reach you more easily. If you are indoors, keep windows tightly closed, and change into clothes and long-sleeved shirts. Wear a mask and goggles for maximum safety. And after the eruption is over, go to the roof to clear the ash, because too much ash if accumulated too can bring weight to destroy your home.

3. Was attacked by a hippopotamus.
For those who do not know, the hippopotamus is one of the creatures that cause the most human deaths in nature. So if you see a hippopotamus, don't try to get close, because they don't like it. You also avoid shallow waters, as that is where the hippopotamus becomes the strongest, can attack any creature they want.

During the breeding season of the hippopotamus, you also need to stay away from them. That is when the male hippos become aggressive, while the female hippos will get very angry if you approach their offspring. And remember, if the hippopotamus starts yawning, it's not like they're sleepy, they're about to attack.

If you see a hippopotamus showing its teeth at you, run away immediately. Find a shelter - like a tree or a rock, because you won't be able to escape if you run fair with them. In case of forced running, follow a zigzag - hippopotamus body is too large to allow them to change direction too suddenly.

4. Deal when someone has a stroke.
Although this is not a situation that puts you in danger, acting quickly can save a life.

First, don't try to put the person down or control their movements. Also do not give them anything to eat or drink, as this could cause choking or injure their mouth. And also do not give them CPR, because their respiration will soon return to normal.

Instead, disperse the surrounding crowds to clear up the space. Lay casualty on their side to help them breathe easier, while also making sure the ground is not damaged. If the victim wears glasses, gently remove them. Put a shirt or anything soft and soft under their head to avoid hurting their head. And in the meantime, remember to call an ambulance.

5. If your car is robbed.
To avoid being robbed, stay away from poorly lit parking spaces, keep doors open for too long, and especially don't leave windows open before starting your car. Also, when you must stop the red light, park your vehicle at a distance so you can see the tires of the vehicle ahead. This will allow enough space to run away if there is a real robbery.

And in case there is no other way, get out of the car, do not fight, then call the authorities to resolve the matter. After all, your safety is still of utmost importance.

6. Swim and hit a swarm of piranhas.
Piranha - fish known as the evil god of the Amazon. But actually this fish rarely attacks humans, unless bothered (or starved for a long time).

In general, if you find yourself surrounded by piranhas, don't panic. But if they bite you and cause bleeding, get out of the water immediately. Because even though the bite is just accidental, the blood will attract their swarms and make them become more aggressive.

Also after getting ashore, go to the nearest medical facility for first aid. The bacteria in the fish's mouth can be very dangerous, especially in tropical species.
